Help & FAQ
The questions every speechwriter asks before invitation, and the questions every beta tester asks after.
I.What is WriteRed?
WriteRed is an AI speechwriting platform built for Republican political communications professionals. Six specialized agents work together on every full draft — The Researcher, The Ideas Guy, Writer A, Writer B, The Chief Speechwriter, and The Fact Checker — and a final humanizer pass strips out 18 categories of AI tells before the draft reaches your screen.
The product is built around your principal’svoice, not a generic prompt. It was built by a veteran GOP comms pro who spent fifteen years writing for governors, members of Congress, and candidates — and got tired of an AI that kept writing like it had never met them.
II.Who is this for?
Speechwriters and communications staff working with elected officials, candidates, and conservative organizations. If you’re writing for a principal whose voice matters, and you’re tired of ChatGPT producing speeches that could’ve been written for any politician on either side of the aisle, this is for you.
Not for: general blog content, corporate communications, fiction writing, or whatever LinkedIn calls “thought leadership” this week.
III.Why is it invite-only?
We’re in live beta with a small cohort of veteran speechwriters. We approve in waves to keep the feedback loop tight and avoid quality regressions — the kind that happen when you ship a model change to ten thousand strangers and only hear about it after a podium goes wrong.
Apply via the Request Beta Invite button on the landing page; we follow up personally. Most invitees hear back within three business days.
IV.What's the difference between Quick Draft and Full Pipeline?
Quick Draftis one Sonnet pass through the writer plus the humanizer — about 30 seconds end-to-end. Good for rough first drafts, riffs, opening lines, or a fast read on whether a topic has legs.
Full Pipelineruns The Researcher and The Ideas Guy in parallel, then Writer A and Writer B in parallel, then The Chief Speechwriter, then The Fact Checker, and finally the humanizer — about three to four minutes total. Use Full Pipeline for keynotes, real podium speeches, anything you’d be embarrassed to ship as-is.
V.How does the AI know my principal's voice?
The Library tab. You add your principal’s biography, committees, policy positions, district, signature issues, and voice rules — phrases they use, phrases they’d never say. You upload past speeches as PDF, DOCX, or TXT. You stash one-line riffs for later.
Every agent in the pipeline reads from this library before generating. The library grows over time. The drafts get better. That’s the entire deal.
VI.What stops the AI from making up quotes or statistics?
Three things, and none of them are perfect.
One. Anti-hallucination prompting. Every agent is instructed to use [FACT NEEDED: ...] and [INSERT PERSONAL ANECDOTE]placeholders instead of inventing content it can’t verify.
Two. The Fact Checker agent runs a final pass cross-referencing claims against your library and the research brief.
Three. The humanizer strips out 18 AI-tell categories — including invented authority quotes and confident-sounding numbers with no source.
None of this is a substitute for a speechwriter reading the draft before the principal sees it. Always read the draft.
VII.Will my speeches be used to train the AI?
No. Your library content and drafts go to Anthropic and Tavily as part of the agent pipeline. Per Anthropic’s commercial terms, customer prompt content is not used to train their models by default. We do not sell, share, or license your content for any third-party training purpose.
See our Privacy Policyfor the full picture — what we collect, where it lives, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.
VIII.How does billing work?
Two tiers. Starter $29/month includes 3 Quick Drafts and 2 Full Drafts. Pro $79/monthincludes 7 Quick Drafts and 5 Full Drafts. Both come with a 7-day free trial — card captured at signup, first charge on day eight.
Overage drafts are billed per-run: Starter is $5 per Quick and $15 per Full; Pro is $4 per Quick and $12 per Full (Pro gets 20% off overages).
Beta testers currently have free access during the beta period. When the beta ends, you’ll choose a tier or close the account. Stripe handles all charges; you can manage your subscription via the Billing Portal in Settings.
IX.What if a pipeline run fails?
We refund the run automatically. Failed runs — whether the pipeline timed out, a fact-check threw, or something else broke — trigger an email from quill@writered.app with the failure context, and Stripe issues the refund.
If the auto-refund itself fails (rare), email matt@writered.app and he’ll process it manually within one business day.
X.How do I cancel?
Settings → Billing Portal → Cancel. You keep access through the end of your current billing period; we don’t prorate, and we don’t hide the button.
To delete your account and all your data entirely, email matt@writered.app. Self-serve account deletion is on the roadmap.
See our Terms of Service for the full cancellation and refund policy.
XI.My pipeline is stuck / I can't sign in / something's broken.
Email matt@writered.app with: your account email, what you were trying to do, what you saw instead, and a screenshot if you have one. We typically respond within one business day.
Real product bugs get fast-tracked. If your speech is needed for a podium that night, say so in the subject line — we’ll move heaven and earth.
Didn’t find what you were looking for? Email matt@writered.app and we’ll get back to you within one business day.
